About ScholarshipsNigeria

ScholarshipsNigeria lists international scholarships and reads each one from the point of view of a student applying from Nigeria: the level of study it funds, when applications close, what it covers, and whether its published eligibility includes Nigerian applicants.

How we describe a scholarship

Deadlines, study levels, coverage and eligibility on this site are taken from each award's published terms. Where an award does not say something — for example, whether Nigerians can apply — we say so rather than guess.

Scholarship terms change between application cycles. Every scholarship page ends with a link to the provider's official website; always confirm the current call there before you apply.

Where the Nigeria figures come from

Counts of Nigerian students enrolled in other countries come from the UNESCO Institute for Statistics (UIS), which publishes inbound internationally mobile student numbers by country of origin.

We do not process applications

ScholarshipsNigeria is an information site. We are not a scholarship provider or agent, we do not accept applications, and we never ask for payment to apply for a scholarship.
